Order Process

Celebration Cakes

Please contact me for availability. Cakes will need to be collected by arrangement unless alternative delivery arrangements have been made. Full payment must be made 2 weeks prior to the event.

Wedding Cakes

I recommend that you book your Wedding cake at least 9-12 months in advance, or more for popular times of the year. If you want an idea of the cost of your cake please provide: date of Wedding & venue, how many servings you require along with an images or cake designs.

Next a consultation is arranged where I discuss the design of your cake, along with a selection of cake tasters. Any design from my range can be customised to your specification, or I can create something unique and completely different for you. During the consultation I will advise on the

style and size of cake to suit the number of guests and venue.

Save the date

Should you wish to proceed a non-refundable booking fee of £100 which ensures your date is in my diary. Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis so I recommend booking the date as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Balance

6 Weeks prior to your Wedding, the balance will become payable. Please ensure payment is made 4 Weeks prior to your Wedding.

For orders less than 6 Weeks’ notice, the full payment is required on confirmation and is non-refundable.

Cake stand hire

Cake stands are only available to hire if ordered with a cake and need to be returned within 2 Weeks after your event. Alternatively, I offer a chargeable collection service from your venue at my discretion. A security deposit is payable in advance for the use of the cake stand.

Delivery of your cake

If I am delivering your cake, then I will liase with the venue or Wedding planner to ensure the cake arrives at the venue at the correct time. I will provide your venue/caterers with information on allergy details together with cake flavours, any inedible decorations and special instructions for cutting the cake.

A momentum of your day

Sugar decorations such as models or flowers after being carefully removed from your cake prior to cutting, will keep indefinitely if kept cool and dry and away from direct sunlight. Displayed in a cabinet or in a Perspex box, they’ll provide a talking point and will be a daily reminder of your special day for years to come.

Cake Philosophy

Where possible I like to use local quality ingredients including free-range eggs and creamy English butter. Decorations are all hand-made unless stated.
