Cake Flavours

It is common to mix and match flavour combinations and have a different flavour for each tier. If you have any allergies to cater for please ensure you discuss with me when booking. All cakes are made using quality ingredients and free-range eggs, and these flavours and fillings can be mixed and matched to suit your taste.

Madagascan Vanilla

 

Classic vanilla sponge filled with a

raspberry conserve and a light fluffy

Madagascan vanilla bean buttercream

 

 

Creamy Chocolate

 

Rich moist chocolate sponge filled with

a chocolate buttercream or chocolate

ganache-buttercream

 

Chocolate Caramel

 

Rich moist chocolate sponge filled with salted caramel toffee and salted caramel buttercream

 

Chocolate Blackcherry

 

Rich moist chocolate sponge filled with a

Blackcherry preserve and blackcherry

Matured for at least 3 months soaked in brandy with apricots, sultanas, currants,

Zesty Lemon

 

Zesty lemon sponge drizzled with a lemon syrup and filled with a lemon curd and a light fluffy lemon buttercream

 

 

Lemonberry

 

Zesty lemon sponge drizzled with a lemon syrup and filled with a raspberry curd and a light fluffy lemon buttercream

 

 

Lemonflower

 

Zesty lemon sponge drizzled with

elderflower syrup and filled with a lemon curd and a light elderflower buttercream

 

 

Pink Champagne

 

Champagne flavoured sponge (coloured pink) filled with a light fluffy Madagascan vanilla buttercream

 

 

Cherry Bakewell

 

Classic almond sponge filled with a

morello cherry preserve and a light fluffy cherry bakewell buttercream

 

 

Tropical Coconut

 

Creamy coconut sponge is filled with a

passionfruit curd and a light creamy

Carrot & Walnut

 

Carrot & Walnut with rum soaked sultanas and citric notes, filled with a citric

Wedding Cake Price Guide

The price quoted will reflect the size and complexity of the design. The portion guide is based on single cake tiers of 5” deep and finger portions (1” x 1” x height), all covered with a chocolate ganache and sugarpaste (with minimal decoration). Sugar flowers, toppers & lace/decorations is extra depending upon the detail & complexity.

  • 3 tier Wedding cakes (approx. 85 portions) start from £250

  • 3 tier Wedding cakes (approx. 105 portions) start from £300

  • 3 tier Wedding cakes (approx. 140 portions) start from £350

  • 4 tier Wedding cakes (approx. 150 portions) start from £400

 

 

 

Naked, semi-naked & buttercream cakes

Naked, semi-naked & buttercream cakes for a 3-tier cake are from £250 for 105 portions (flowers, fruit, decoration and delivery/set up is extra). Please note that between the months of May-September where temperatures can be high this type of cake may not be suitable depending upon the venue.

Cutting Cakes

Cutting cakes (covered in chocolate ganache and sugarpaste) to provide additional servings are:

  • 6” square (36 portions) £50

  • 8” square (64 portions) £85

  • 10” square (100 portions) £135

  • 12” square (144 portions) £165

 

 

Polystyrene dummies can be decorated to look like real cake and can be used to provide height and grandeur. Adding a dummy tier will not affect the price to a cake as the cost of the Wedding cake is mainly made up of time taken to cover, prepare and decorate the cake.

Wedding favours & desert tables

Dessert tables are a great idea to add a variety for your guests of cake & sweet treats. These can be pop cakes, macaroons, cupcakes, cookies/iced biscuits, mini cakes & meringue kisses. For prices:

  • Pop cakes are from £2.25 each (wrapped & tied) (minimum order 10)

  • Macaroons are from £1.10 each (minimum order 24)

  • Cookies/iced biscuits are from £2 each (wrapped & tied) (minimum order 12)

  • Cake in a jar (with spoon & ribbon) are from £2.50 each

  • Iced Mini cakes are from £5 each

  • Cupcakes from £2 each
